Search and Rescue Officers - Rescue Coordination Centre New Zealand
In the SARO role, you will coordinate, manage and direct responses to search and rescue (SAR) incidents. Working as members of a small team, SAROs provide year round operational coverage on a 24/7 rotating shift system. You will also assist RCCNZ in performing other key roles such as assistance for SAR services provided by other agencies and undertaking development, liaison and training delivery activities.

District SAR Assistant Coordinator (Bay of Plenty) - New Zealand Police
In this role you will assist and support the District SAR coordinator. This could include planning and delivering district SAR activities (prevention, training and operational response), maintaining records, assisting with reporting, and building relationships with SAR partner agencies. This is a non-operational role that does not deploy into the field to look for missing people.
